What is your minimum hire?

Our minimum booking is:

R1800 per day (includes 4 hours)

Can I cancel my booking?

More than 24 hours notice → reschedule/refund

Less than 24 hours → booking fee may be non-refundable

What happens if it rains?

Work may be postponed if conditions are unsafe. We’ll reschedule with you where possible.

What do I need to prepare before you arrive?

Please ensure:

  • The site is accessible and clear
  • Any underground pipes or cables are marked
  • There is enough working space for the machine

Do you have different bucket sizes?

Yes — we have:

  • Narrow bucket (cable & irrigation trenches)
  • Medium bucket (general work)
  • Wide bucket (soft soil & bulk digging)

What type of work can you do?

We specialise in:

  • Irrigation trenching
  • Cable trenching
  • Small swimming pool excavation
  • Light Foundation digging
  • Post hole drilling in soft soil (auger)

Do I need to pay upfront?

Yes — a minimum booking fee is required to secure your date and time.

What happens if I need the machine longer than 4 hours?

After the initial 4 hours:

You will be billed at R450 per hour

Charged in 0.1 hour increments (6 minutes)

Do you supply an operator with the excavator?

Yes — all hires include a operator. For safety and insurance reasons, the machine is not available for self-drive hire.

Is fuel included in the price?

Yes — all rates include diesel, so there are no hidden fuel costs.
